I woke up after sleeping 9 hours, totally refreshed. It totally amazes me the effect that caffeine was having on my body. Going through this process, I am certainly more mindful of what I am putting into my body.
My meals were the same as yesterday:
Breakfast – Chocolate Vegan Shakeology
Lunch – Green Salad with peppers, cucumbers and a homemade vinaigrette
Snack – Celery Sticks with Almond Butter
Dinner – Salmon, Quinoa, Grilled Asparagus
I definitely felt a bit tired on my drive home and had a minor headache. Not too bad though. This process so far, is really making me realize how much of an emotional attachment that I had to food. I’m surprised how my cravings have severely decreased already. It’s crazy. Definitely excited to see how the next few weeks are.
